The proposed Colombia Free Trade Agreement is looming on the horizon, heading towards the U.S. Congress, while Colombian trade unionists continue to be threatened and murdered. Why not do something about it?! Join with other U.S. trade unionists and allies and travel to Colombia!
We’ll meet with Colombian Trade Unionists, Human Rights Activists, and International Trade Experts. You’ll return to the U.S. able to speak about the situation in Colombia with the authority of first-hand experience. Before returning to the U.S., we’ll lobby the Colombian government and the U.S. Embassy, demanding that they do more to protect the rights and lives of our Colombian trade unionist brothers and sisters.
Program Fee of $1,260 includes all food, lodging, and in-country ground travel expenses. (Airfare is not included.)
